Winners of Southeastern Minnesota Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition will perform in the spring finale concerts on Sunday May 15th, at Century High School.

Cellist Theodore Pranoto Thayib, 11, won the Philharmonic Orchestra Concerto Competition. He will perform Goltermann's Concerto No. 4 for Cello and Orchestra, Op 65, Allegro.

Thayib has participated in SEMYO for four years. He is a sixth grader at Rochester Montessori School. He plays percussion in his school's band.

He also plays piano, Tae-Kwon-Do, table-tennis, basketball and soccer.
